The modular installation functions as a shared space for rest and social interaction. Drawing inspiration from the lively spirit of Rioja wine and its traditional harvest dances, the structures are designed to blend naturally into a variety of urban settings throughout the city.
During the day, they become playful environments for children, while in the evening, the atmosphere shifts, conversations grow richer, people gather for pinchos, glasses are raised, and moments of connection unfold around them.

The modular system is a place of rest and gather around. Inspired by the heart of Rioja’s rhythm and the old harvest dance, the modules seamlessly integrate into diverse urban landscapes across the city. By day, children play, as light softens, the rhythm changes, voices deepen, hands reach for pinchos, glasses meet, and stories lengthen around them.

LOGROÑO feels like a city that moves at the pace of a shared glass of wine. Nestled in the heart of La Rioja, it breathes a quiet confidence, never hurried, never loud, yet deeply alive. By day, sunlight filters through leafy parks and settles gently in small plazas, where time seems to soften. People linger. Footsteps slow. The city invites wandering without purpose, letting warmth and stillness seep into your bones.

As evening falls, Logroño begins to hum. Streets glow, voices rise, and laughter spills from bar to bar along cobblestone paths. The air carries the scent of grilled food and open wine bottles, of conversations half-finished and nights that promise to stretch just a little longer. Here, life is lived close togethe, hands passing plates, glasses touching, stories unfolding in the space between strangers. Wine is not just tasted, shared, remembered.

This closeness, this collective rhythm, finds its most vivid expression during San Mateo. The city fills with people dressed in white, soon marked by wine-red stains, moving together to the steady pulse of drums. Neighbors, families, and strangers crush grapes underfoot, raise glasses, and blur the boundary between tradition and the present moment. It is not a festival observed from afar, but one lived from within, where the streets, the people, and the wine merge into a single expression of joy.
The modular area is made up of round tables and chairs, clustered like grape bunches. Wooden-topped tables, bar tables, and metal-based chairs welcome children and adults alike, inviting shared moments of laughter, conversation, and enjoyment. Inspired by Rioja’s wines, the color palette reflects its richness, with red chosen as a nod to the region’s most celebrated vintage.
